In the Industry 4.0 era, major enterprises are striving to digital transformation for high production efficiency, low cost and ensuring quality. However, as an important part in intelligent manufacturing, the industrial inspection field still relies heavily on traditional manual inspection methods. This not only lacks efficiency but also strains inspectors' physical and mental health due to repetitive and high-intensity work. With the advancement of 3D vision technology, efficiency has been drastically improved. However, the data processing speed and reliability remain a challenge.

During the production process of prefabricated reinforced steel structure floor slabs, the quality inspection has a direct impact on the construction quality. Our 3D measurement and inspection system that incorporates HKCLR’s self-developed 3D imaging sensors and 3D algorithm platform, can accurately detect the positions of floor slab reinforcements and embedded parts. It only takes less than 2 minutes to complete the inspection of a 4mx9m floor slab, doubling the efficiency compared to manual methods while significantly improving measurement accuracy.
