Senior Optical Engineer
Job Description
- Optical System Design
- Responsible for the simulation, design, and evaluation of optical systems in projects, including system simulation and stray light analysis.
- Analyze and solve issues related to optical modules (lighting systems, camera lenses, etc.) during development and mass production.
- Conduct preliminary research on optical systems, develop optical technology roadmaps for products, and support product line planning.
- Camera and Lens Development
- Select camera sensors and lenses based on product requirements and lighting conditions to ensure imaging quality.
- Optical Testing and Mass Production Implementation
- Develop and test optical indicators related to cameras, lenses, and optical modules to meet product quality requirements.
- Oversee the trial production of cameras and optical components, analyze optical-related defects, formulate countermeasures, and provide guidance on tolerance analysis and structural design.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Optical Engineering or related fields (Optical Instruments, Optoelectronics, Optomechanics, etc.).
- Over 3 years of experience in optical system design, with preference given to those with experience in lens design, lens optimization, and tolerance analysis.
- Proficiency in using optical design software such as LightTools, TracePro, or Zemax, as well as 3D software like SolidWorks, SolidEdge, or ProE for optical mechanical design.
- Innovative spirit and teamwork skills, with preference given to those with mass production experience.
